Introducing Build with Basics, a 10-workout virtual fitness program designed to break down barriers to movement and simplify your exercise routine. With no equipment needed and standing-only exercises, we’ve made it easier to stay active. Want to challenge yourself? Just add weights to intensify the workout. Let’s get moving and build a stronger, healthier you - one basic step at a time!

Note: E-mails will be sent out with a YouTube link for your workout videos on Tuesdays & Thursdays each week.
Length of each video ranges from 10 - 40 minutes
We’re excited to offer some of our past virtual fitness programs, from the last 4 years, for purchase through the Rec Center! Once purchased, you’ll be able to access and view these workouts on YouTube. A link will be e-mailed to you within the week of registration. These programs range from beginner to intermediate, with some featuring alternative moves to suit your fitness level. You’ll need a variety of weights to complete the workouts. Get ready to work out anytime, anywhere! (masks are worn in some videos).

Are you ready to take your fitness to the next level? Join us for an exhilarating Cardio and Ab Fitness program designed to boost your endurance, strengthen your core, and ignite your motivation! Modifications will be offered for all fitness levels.
18-37 minute videos; Weights and chair can be used.
We will provide participants with a new circuit each weekday throughout this 5 week challenge, to be repeated 3 times (or more if you feel up to it). Each circuit will concentrate on one area of the body (Upper, Middle, Lower). At the end of the 5 days there is a 15-30 minute workout video. This video will bring the circuits together and help you keep you motivated.
27-38 minute videos; Weights and chair can be used.
This is a challenge yourself Fitness Challenge. Workout 5 days a week, for 30 minutes, for 2 months. We will provide you with one 30 minute workout once a week to help you keep your goal. Your workout the other 4 days can be walking, biking, resistance or anything that keeps you moving for 30 minutes straight.
32-39 minutes; Weights and a mat can be used.
Our legs carry us through life and in this program we will show our appreciation by working to make them stronger! Squats, lunges, lifts, plus more, join us as we are thankfully sore!
10-26 minutes; Weights, body bands, resistant bands and a mat can be used.
This virtual program was made in July 2021. We wanted to proudly wave our flag, not our arm sag! This program we will focus on our arms. You won’t want to miss this arm show!
14-20 minutes; Weights, resistant bands and a mat can be used.
